I've seen this play out time and again over my career. Service-based businesses bring in talented creatives for rebrands, fresh websites, or bold campaigns to signal change, both internally and to the market. The intent is there, the energy is high, but too often these efforts stay surface-level. Without addressing the deeper misalignment between strategy, team culture, and the actual customer experience, they burn time, money, and goodwill without moving the needle in any meaningful way.

Helping leadership teams avoid these pitfalls is the purpose behind our work.

To achieve that in 2017, I made a deliberate shift away from the traditional agency playbook. Instead of leading with tactics, Arteria refocused on those high-impact, below-the-waterline areas that actually hold businesses back. Tackling misalignment at its source, where strategy, people, and delivery aren't pulling in the same direction. This focus combined with the flexibility of a fractional service approach has helped our clients globally build the solid foundations needed for transformations that stick, positioning that drives profitability, and experiences that feel authentic and consistent.

 

Close to 20 years on in my business journey, Arteria has "walked the talk" to navigate it's own share of challenging situations. We didn't get here alone. I'm incredibly grateful for the clients who've trusted us with this deeper work and for the referrals that fueled our own growth.
